1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly to us, such as when you create an account, make a purchase, or contact us for support. This may include:

  • Name and contact information
  • Payment and billing information
  • Account credentials
  • Communications and correspondence

Google user data

If you choose to sign in with Google, Fundsaurus requests access only to your basic Google account profile: your name, email address and Google account identifier (the openid, email and profile scopes). We do not request access to any other Google services or data, such as Gmail, Drive, Calendar or Contacts.

How we use it. We use this information solely to create and authenticate your Fundsaurus account, to identify you when you sign in, and to send account-related emails such as a welcome email and billing notices.

Storage and protection. Your name, email address and Google account identifier are stored in our database alongside your Fundsaurus account and are protected by encryption in transit (HTTPS) and access controls. We never receive your Google password, and we do not keep Google access tokens after sign-in completes.

Sharing. We do not sell Google user data and do not share it with third parties, except with service providers that operate the service on our behalf (hosting, email delivery, and Stripe for payments), or where required by law. We do not use Google user data for advertising, and we do not use it to develop, improve or train generalized AI or machine learning models.

Retention and deletion. We keep this data for as long as your account exists. You can delete your account at any time from Account Settings → Delete Account in the Fundsaurus app, which permanently removes your profile, portfolios and API keys and cancels any active subscription. You can also email info@fundsaurus.com to request deletion. You can revoke Fundsaurus’s access to your Google account at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.

Fundsaurus’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve our services
  • Process transactions and send related information
  • Send promotional communications (with your consent)
  • Respond to your comments, questions, and requests

3. Information Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personal information to third parties without your consent, except as described in this policy or as required by law.

4. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

5. Cookies and Tracking

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to collect and track information about your browsing activity. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access your personal data
  • Correct inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data (you can delete your account yourself from Account Settings → Delete Account, or email us)
  • Opt-out of marketing communications

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy on this page.
